GroupM Conference App

In late 2018, we developed a fully customized conference app “The New Normal” for GroupM. App targeted Android and iOS based smartphones. We used App Store’s Test Flight feature on iOS for private deployment to limited devices, on Android we used direct APK installation.

Features & Technology

  • Dynamic agenda, speakers, travel & rooms sections, loaded from cloud and automatically cached for offline use when internet is not available
  • Push notifications for real-time updates to keep participants engaged as multi-day conference progressed
  • Cross platform. Developed using Unity,  supports iOS and Android
  • Integration with Google Photos shared album, where all participants were able to share photos from their smartphones
  • Live text chat with all participants
